Attendance: one day per week spread over two years
3-YEAR PRACTITIONER DIPLOMA COURSE IN HOMEOPATHY (DIP SCH)
Attendance: one weekend a month spread over three years.
Successful completion of the above Practitioner Diploma Course in Homeopathy leads to the qualification Dip SCH whereupon you can apply for registration and membership with a professional organisation such as Alliance of Registered Homeopaths.
The course covers
- the history and philosophy of homeopathy
- the principles and practice of homeopathy
- remedies of the homeopathic materia medica
- the theory of miasms
- repertorisation and case taking skills and their various methodologies as part of ongoing practitioner development
- anatomy and physiology
- pathology and disease
- the difference between disease from both a homeopathic and conventional viewpoint
and so much more.
We teach the remedies of the Materia Medica interlinked with the medical sciences module. To assist our students to memorise these remedies we use colourful slides to bring the remedies to life and give the student a valuable working relationship with the remedies for future use when prescribing during practice.
First year students are entitled to FREE membership with the Alliance of Registered Homeopaths (ARH) a major registering organisation, entitling them to receive copies of their first class journal Homeopathy in Practice and reduced rates at ARH events
At the end of the course and having successfully completed all assignments, clinic hours and cases, the student will be awarded their practitioner diploma and be entitled to use the letters Dip SCH.
The college recommends that graduates apply for registration with a registering organisation and also to keep up-to-date with changes in the profession by attending lectures and seminars that contribute to their continual professional development (CPD).
The tutors on our homeopathy courses are highly skilled homeopathic practitioners who are able to impart their knowledge in a friendly manner so that students are able to enjoy their learning process.
Our Practitioner Diploma course in homeopathy is of a very high standard and surpasses the requirements outlined in the National Occupational Standards of homeopathy. Sapphire Complementary Health & Training Centre is a member of the Homeopathic Course Providers Forum.
It is our aim to make the whole learning process enjoyable and to enable us to do this we deliberately keep our class size to a minimum number of students as this ensures good interaction between students and tutors.
